What your workers see

Your workers don't see the office view. They get one clean calendar on their phone with the three things they care about, and nothing else.

The worker calendar: drag availability (1), register interest in an open shift (2), and see booked shifts by site (3).

The calendar

  • Available: the days they've told you they can work. They tap a day to mark it, tap again to flip it, and drag across a stretch to set a run at once. Going away for a fortnight takes two seconds to record.
  • Open: shifts you've published that still need filling. If one suits, they register interest with a tap. The office confirms the allocation, and until it's confirmed they can withdraw.
  • My shifts: the jobs they're booked on, grouped by site, with the details behind a tap: dates, role, the tickets the site needs, and any notes from the office like flight times.

Marking yourself available isn't a booking, and registering interest isn't a guarantee. The office still makes the final call, and every allocation passes the same compliance check as anything else.

Certificates

Workers upload their own tickets: pick the competency, add the expiry date, attach a photo or PDF. Each certificate carries a clear status: verified once the office has checked it, pending while it waits, expired when it needs renewing. When a renewal is coming up, the reminder email arrives with weeks to act, not days.

No app, on purpose

All of this runs in the phone's browser. Nothing to install from an app store, nothing to update, works the same on a five-year-old Android as a new iPhone. Workers can add it to their home screen for one-tap access, and every login is protected by two-factor authentication.
