Mustr vs MyPass Global: passport or roster?
This one is less a rivalry than a category confusion worth clearing up. MyPass Global is a skills passport: a verified, portable record of a worker's tickets and certifications, widely used across mining and energy. It's good at what it does. What it doesn't do is roster anybody.
What MyPass does well
Verification depth. Credentials in MyPass are checked at the source with issuing authorities, workers carry their passport between employers, and client companies get portal visibility of contractor compliance. Its Australian pricing is published: $11.50 per worker per month for pools of 5 to 49, then flat tiers of $1,109 a month for 50 to 99 workers, $2,169 for 100 to 199, and $4,990 for 200 to 499, all ex GST. For asset owners auditing a contractor workforce, it's a strong tool.
What it leaves you still needing
A verified credential is an input, not a roster. MyPass tells you a worker's ticket is real and current; it doesn't build the swing, fill the open shift, stop a double-booking, or block an allocation when the ticket lapses. Firms using a passport still need scheduling software beside it, and the two systems don't share one brain: the roster tool doesn't refuse the booking because the passport noticed a problem.
How Mustr approaches it

- Certificates are uploaded by workers, verified by your office, and chased 60 days before expiry.

The pricing maths
Here's the part that surprises people: at 100 workers MyPass alone is $2,169 a month ex GST, and it doesn't roster. A firm running a per-seat roster app beside MyPass at that size is commonly north of $3,000 a month before either system blocks a booking.
Which should you pick?
If your clients demand source-verified, portable credentials across many employers, MyPass has a real place, and some operations will justify both tools. If what you need is a roster that won't book a non-compliant worker in the first place, one system does that job. See it run.
