Mustr vs Entire OnHire for labour hire

Entire OnHire is one of the few platforms genuinely built for Australian labour hire and staffing agencies, covering recruitment, workforce management and finance in one suite. If Mustr has a spiritual competitor in ambition, this is it. The products still make very different bets.

What Entire OnHire does well

Breadth. Candidate recruitment, availability and allocations, compliance checks, payroll and invoicing all live in one system built for agencies. Its compliance behaviour is real: the platform's own material describes automatically preventing workers from accepting shifts when they don't meet compliance criteria. For high-volume temp desks placing hundreds of shifts a day, that end-to-end shape has obvious appeal.

Where the differences are

  • Pricing you can read. Entire OnHire prices per licence or per shift booked, but publishes no figures; the build, setup and training are a separately charged one-off, also unpublished. Mustr's full price list is public: from $660 a month for up to 30 users through to $4,180 for up to 500, GST included, setup $3,850. You can budget it before you ever talk to us.
  • The client portal. Entire OnHire offers one as a paid add-on. Mustr includes client logins in every plan, because pushing roster visibility to the client is half the operational win.
  • Weight class. Entire OnHire is a full agency back office, with the implementation and complexity that implies. Mustr is deliberately narrower: roster, compliance engine, portals, done properly, live in weeks.

The pricing maths

There isn't a public number to compare against, which is itself the comparison. Per-shift or per-licence pricing scales with your volume in ways you'll only learn from their quote. Mustr's flat bracket is on a public page, GST included, with everything in every plan.

Which should you pick?

If you're a staffing agency that wants recruitment, placement, payroll and invoicing in one vendor and you're comfortable with quoted pricing and a bigger implementation, Entire OnHire is a legitimate choice. If you want the roster-and-compliance core done sharply, priced in the open, with clients logged in rather than phoning, that's a 20-minute demo.

Competitor details and prices in this article come from the vendors’ own published pages as at July 2026, quoted ex GST unless noted, and may have changed since. Check their sites for current figures. Mustr prices include GST.
